I'm currently using a pair of Tekton Lores with the Audex Gold tweeter. A lively and dynamic speaker considering their low cost ($1100 including shipping in continental USA.)
I was using some EV 12TRXC coaxial drivers in 4.5 cu ft enclosures I built. Very heavy built. The mids and lows were great down to 70Hz, but dropped off quickly below that. Highs above 3K tended to be a bit harsh and dropped off above about 14K. They took up a lot of real estate in my small living room, so they now sit stored in my shed. They'd make great party speakers, though. At 99dB or 100dB sensitivity, a 50 watt amp would play LOUD!
