A new movie with Tom Cruise will be out in the fall that looks like a total departure from his usual high octane features. I've never been a big fan, but have likened a few of his roles.
I don't know the jest of this role, other than he's a gazillionaire, old and does something that threatens the whole planet if I read it right. A dark comedy its billed as. I'll wait for the reviews for if I go see it. At a real theater. Which I haven't been in since prior to the pandemic. Can't even remember what I saw.
I am confident this movie is going to become a success with the news that Alejandro G. Inarritu is going to be the director. He's directed a couple of other amazing movies, and I expect less from what Digger will offer.
It feels great having Tom Cruise back as a lead actor in this movie. I will say it is a must watch.

I liked him in the remake of War of the Worlds, and with Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man. And, I thought his character was very compelling in the movie Collateral with Jamie Foxx.
Has anyone seen him in the movie, American Made? I'm curious about that film. About an American drug runner, Cruise, flying planes from South America to the US.

His action films though I haven't gotten into.
I have not really seen American Made. My cousin recently recommended the movie to me, and it seems I should plan on watching it soon.
