I'm not a technically adept enthusiast but have tube and SS amplification. Maybe one myth of tube audio is that it has this inherent warmth to it. Maybe some do. I use an OTL design tube amplification and I don't sense this cosy warmth as much as clarity and articulation with its sound. Fact is maybe my SS amp is more warm sounding. Hard to discern without side by side A/B listening. Which I don't have capability. But, I enjoy both.
