A lot has changed over time, and playing music in an elevator is becoming a thing of the past. There are few places that one can visit even hotels and you get to hear the music being played in the elevator.
I don't understand the reason they are phasing out the era of playing songs on the elevator. I always enjoy listening to those songs the very few times that I've had the need to make use of an elevator in different areas.
