Music doesn't care whether you are young or old. The vibe flows through. I've seen older people who are very happy listening to new songs from rappers and other players. What always matters is musicians making quality music that a lot of people will find a reason to listen to.

I am of the opinion that music is for everyone and one gets to play a particular type of music depending on the environment that they grew up in. I am more of the guy who enjoys playing classical songs as result of the fact that I stayed more with my dad while I was growing and he played such songs. My preference for such songs of the 70s and 80s grew right from that time.

Hi, lot's of pertinent information.  I like any type or age of music that is well performed.  That is not to say there aren't some genres that I prefer. 60's to 75's are somewhat special for me as I was at a number of performances.  Now live performances are so costly that I do go to any. Back then would you believe that many were free!

Good Listening
