I doubt it very seriously but you can easily verify with acoustic measurements. If the compression driver is wired backwards, there will be a big dip in the crossover region when measured on-axis. The vertical nulls won't be at +/-20 degrees either.
And just to clarify, on the compression driver it isn't so much the traditional meaning - whether the red/positive lead creates positive pressure - as it is that the four Pi design requires the DE250-8 to be wired with the black lead connected to positive.
