I understand that many might be leaning towards the direction of cables, not having a major impact on sound quality, which I won't dispute that much. My take is that when you spend enough to get quality cables at a higher cost, there are chances that it will last longer than the normal cables.
This consideration is what some don't look at as the focus is always on the end part. I can't imagine changing cable wires every seven months when I can get one, which is going to last for two years or more.
I don't necessarily agree that I need to spend heavily before I can get cable wires that can last longer. Once I can find out affordable ones that are built better in terms of using solid metal connectors and thick wires in making it, I am pretty sure that it can last long and even more than the one you spent more money getting.
Some of these expensive ones are like that because of the brand and not necessarily about being far better than the less popular cheaper ones that were built well.
I don't also agree that there is a difference even in the sound quality of a setup done with an affordable wire that is well built and an expensive one that costs more.
You are totally correct. I believe that the bigger problem is mainly on getting an affordable one that was built well. Possibly, that is the reason a lot of people focus on buying the popular ones even when they are pricey.
