I've used a couple of earphones in the past to come to the conclusion that the issue that you are currently having with your earphones has to do with either microphone performance or noise isolation.
This is the reason I am always careful when it comes to picking the earphones that I use. I consider factors such as active noise cancellation. And how strong the battery can last for longer calls.
So, if you won't mind spending above 100 bucks on getting one, then the Sony WF-1000XM6 is the one I think you should go for. That's what I use, and its performance has been fantastic for longer calls with its solid battery life. It cost me $220 when I purchased it, but I don't know how much it goes right now.
