Some apps are supposed to detect your vocal pitch and vibrato and display them on a graph. Are they accurate? I thought it took expensive studio equipment to do that.
Some are better than others. Vocal Pitch Monitor and Singscope are probably my favorites of the bunch for their ease of use and accuracy. Of course, most apps in this field have a disclaimer that it provides an estimation of your vocal pitch, so it's definitely not an exact science.

I've been making use of Vocal Pitch Monitor, and it has been fantastic so far. It is easier to use in music production, and I've not bothered about seeking any alternative. Maybe one of these days while I am in the studio, I will try using Singscope and see if it is as good as Vocal Pitch Monitor.
