That makes sense to me. It has been strange to me to see how many modern power connectors are small, with little surface area for the contact and small conductor wires. For 100mA, I wouldn't care but many try to get several amps of current though these tiny connectors.
I agree Wayne. Seems everything has to be smaller, even if it is inferior.
I just added, via pigtails, Vampire gold plated copper
jacks to my Schiit Mimir analog outputs, using Jenalabs wire. What a
sonic improvement of the Vampire vs the original brass jacks.
Sounds so much more natural.
