Hi, guys
I just finished a home demo of the Vitus Audio SS-103 MkII stereo power amp during the holiday. The price that the seller quoted for this 85kg heavy-duty is $49,000 slightly negotiable...maybe we can settle around $48,000.
I had to pair it with my Magnepan 20.7 speakers, SL-103 pre and the vinyl setup. Played it in full class A- dead-black noise floor, heavy bass, smooth dynamics, silky highs. Many tracks felt alive like I've got the band right there in my room!
I truly enjoyed the moments, but the cost for it got me second-guessing.
Don't get me wrong, I am ready to spend for the best out there, but is this truly worth it? Should I make the final payment?
Do we have owners or anyone who's heard about it?

It's a dual-mode amplifier that can run in either class A or class A/B mode. But its maximum output is modest in either mode - 50 watts in class A and 150 in class B.
That's right. There are even some who said that it performs far better than this. That is one of the reasons I am strongly considering paying the full price. Do you think it is worth it?
