What I would say is that the Vitus SS-103 MkII is a good value for the $48k investment for passionate audiophiles like you.

Its top-class A operation delivers a dead-black noise floor, effortless dynamics, silky highs, and heavy, controlled bass that makes music feel vividly alive just like you feel with your Magnepan 20.7s.

A lot of people appreciate Vitus' signature series amps for their grainless fluidity, and ability to unite absolute sound and musicality,  which is far better than other brands.

So, I think you are getting a long-term piece that brings a life-like reproduction and I would suggest you make the purchase if the demo gave you such a beautiful experience.
