Weird places as it is stated are places where no one would have expected anyone to be listening to the radio. Is there a particular place that you've ever stayed to listen to the radio that seemed off?  I can say that I've listened to the radio a couple of times in the toilet. That is a place that I didn't see myself staying to listen to the radio, but I had to.

I have gone to the park to listen to the radio. I plugged in my earphones, anyone that looked at me will think that I'm listening to a podcast or a song but I was the only one that know that it was a radio. I took interest to listen that day because it was a talk show with a very interesting topic.

It seems the park wasn't noisy that day or you were able to figure out a cool place in the park where you sat to listen to the radio. Either ways, it must have been a really fun experience for you!

Oh, I got lucky that day. The park can be noisy sometimes, but I’ve learned a few little quiet corners to sneak off to when I want a breather. Sitting there with the earphones felt so peaceful and it’s one of the few moments I get to myself, so I really enjoyed it.
