I still love the radio too! There’s something comforting about hearing real people talk and share music. But I think many people moved on to streaming and podcasts because they can choose exactly what they want, whenever they want. Everything’s on-demand now. Still, for me, the radio feels more personal — it reminds me of simpler times, like having company in the background while I’m cooking or driving.

I have not had any reason not to be listening to the radio. It is something that keeps me relaxed and calm whenever I am home alone. As a retired civil servant, I get to keep up to date with news and events happening in the country by listening to the radio.

However, I understand that the younger ones now focus more on getting trending news from social media sites and that have affected how much people listen to the radio.
