Kelly and I went to see Downton Abbey, The Grand Finale in the theater and we loved it. If you're a Downton Abbey fan, this is a must see movie, of course.
It has the usual kind of situations for each of the characters, but I've always felt that even though the characters are pretty well defined, it is still very interesting to watch them process through things in life. I usually think they all act in much the ways I would have expected them to, but the authors manage to find situations that are interesting and maybe even unexpected, so that keeps things interesting.
Besides, everyone is so likable. I enjoy show like that sometimes. Even the characters that aren't so likeable get you rooting for them in the end.
No spoiler here - having the name "The Grand Finale" says all - and there is a "changing of generations," both upstairs and downstairs. So in that sense, it is truly a finale. But to tell the truth, I really hope they make another movie or a spin-off series that follows the characters that are left in charge. They definitely could do that.

I still have the movie in my laptop which I never get the time to watch it. I will create time and watch it because the reviews I've seen so far about the movie made it interesting to look into.
