Hi Everyone,
Wouldn’t it have been nice? Here I am at my PC (an I7 Omen with all the goodies including an Alienware monitor, SMSL DAC) listening to music via a Marantz 2250 playing a vintage LP on a Sota TT with Origin Live arm and an OM30 cartridge, into a pair of Martin Logan Motion 4s and a D300 powered sub. CD, DVD and Blueray Video if needed is displayed on a separate Dell 24 inch monitor. Then the main system is the sort of stuff I would have done nearly anything to get back in the mid-60s. A quad of upgraded Oddblocks, passive digital preamp, two turntables (a custom direct drive with Jelco arm and Dynavector Karat 23RS-MR, an Empire 598 with a Jelco arm and a Grado Sonata II) one of my customized all tube phono preamps, an Akai R-R tape recorder, a Nakamachi cassette, a Sony HD FM tuner and a Marantz CD player. All are feeding a pair of Martin Logan ESLs and a pair of Altec Lansing VOTs (Magnificent style). Oh by the way there is streaming and blue tooth provided by a self-configured Supermicro I7 PC with all sorts of goodies in it. I don’t know how I could have lived through the “dark ages”. Moving on, virtually no bills, comfy house and good family nearby. Better yet a spouse that might not understand the obsession with audio at least isn’t critical of it. How about you?
Good Listening
Bruce

Glad that we are on that age that things are changing for better and not like some ages before. There are things that are making lives easier both the audio and also the software's too. I'm happy for the things I have now than some ages ago.
