I was so sorry to hear of John Lodge's passing last night.
I saw him in concert with the Moody Blues three times since the 1980s, and one time after the Moodies stopped touring. I also saw him in 2019, when he was touring with Yes. They did a kind of combined show having both Yes and Moodies music. I loved that tour too, 'cause Yes and the Moody Blues are two of my favorite bands.
It is kind of cool to see his name now made into a personal logo with the familiar Yes style, undoubtedly done by the artist Roger Dean. It just looks so right.
John Lodge always remained active and physically fit, and I'm sure that contributed to the quality of his 82 years of life. But none of us get out of here alive.
Damn.
