Spring has sprung, and so have you-know-what! A few were walking up the sides of my kettle. Maybe a bit of sugar got on it somehow? A cleaning wipe took care of them for now.
There are chemicals against insects, but that's good for a while. You have to look for where the ants are crawling from
Looking for where the ants are crawling from saves onè a lot of stress and puts an end to the discomfort that they bring to the home. So, I am in full support that it should be tackled from the foundation.
I like winter, because that's when the ants leave! Last summer through mid-autumn, my homemade cleaning spray seemed to keep them away. It's a mix of water, dish soap, white vinegar, and tea tree oil.
Also, it is important to note that keeping the house clean goes a long way I keeping these ants away even during the summer period
