I recently heard Pink's cover of White Rabbit, and I have to say......I'm impressed. She has a strong voice and only added enough of her own style to make the song better.
Who else has been turned onto a new artist through the cover of a classic?
Pink's been around for a while, but I get what you mean by "new". Post Malone's cover, Only Wanna Be With You, got me into Hootie and the Blowfish. I regret missing the band when they were in their heyday. They were hot on the scene when I was only listening to rap, or I'm sure I would've been a fan.
By the way, I've seen Pink in concert and she's a masterful performer. She's worth checking out if you ever get the chance to see her live.
