I went to some videos and they were helpful.

Tools, preferences, clicked all. Clicked audio, stereo but no dolby.

Went from 4 to 10,
sync function to best quality

Under filters, lots of choices. All are left unchecked.

Do I need to do anything else?

cheers

I can confidently say that with the changes listed above that VLC
is clearly the best, most natural audio program I have heard so far.
It makes Media Player etc sound very average.

The music just sounds more live. Thanks Wayne and Gofar for your
suggestions.

I found a couple of more settings to change. Any other suggestions?
