I was captured watching this bloke fix an old radio tuner, tube amp & turntable console. A real personable Brit. Mend it Mark's his youtube handle. He's always chuckling while he goes about making audio work again. Being an limey though, I had some trouble catching all he says, but his demeanor is what drew me in. Real pleasant fellow he seems. He's based in the UK. I ended up watching several more of his "mending". Really cool looking Italian console.

Hi,, Neat. My take on broken stuff is that you really can't break something that is already broken. Thus it is fair game to work on it. I believe I have done a bit of everything possible that is diy-able. Concrete to roofing, autos and cycles, water systems to electronics, heating to cooling, even cooking ( I like to experiment on folks - but none have gotten sick to date). Gemerally I figure that anything is fixable...just a question if it is worth the effort. If not just get another one. :d
Good Listening
