I don't go out to the picture show much anymore. So, the tube is the theater nowadays. God there's a lot of contemporary and older crap to choose from.
One I like though I watched again is called Drive with Ryan Gosling. He's a stunt driver in the movies that moonlights as a getaway driver for the criminally inclined. He gets in Dutch with the mafia trying to help out his neighbor lady's husband pay off a protection loan while he was in prison. He's also in love with the neighbor lady.
Ryan doesn't use many words in this tale, but he has principals when the crap hits the fan with a botched heist he uses his driving skills for.
Anyway, a good crime/tragic love genre movie. Not a lot of dialogue, but the action is hard hitting and believable. And the story line is tight and right.
