Maybe you should point that out to our State Department, Congress, Senate and White House. Then the corporations trying to monetize this neural network for capital gain. And the stock market too. That is what this is principally all about. Not how it works.
As to why as pointed out by Ben Norton, would all this R&D is being spent on its potential to garner some financial return is so important then. That it becomes political in this country. The Chinese don't seem to see a need for that. But this country does. Why is that?
