The sides and top will be veneered in Khaya wood (from the mahogany family I think but not quite as red as many of that family are). Front and rear will be a complementary paint finish that I haven't quite decided upon yet.

That sounds tasty!  Can't wait to see 'em!

Might be a few weeks yet, my back can play up and put me on bed rest at a moments notice so I don't plan too far ahead.

I'll take pictures as I go and pop them on here.

Any thoughts on quality of capacitors and resistors for the crossover Wayne?

There are plenty of good capacitor brands to choose from.  I prefer poly film caps, and there are good ones from various manufacturers.  We stock Erse, Solen and Jantzen as well as Auricaps, and I really like each of those.

There aren't as many brands for 10 watt resistors, but we stock both Xircom and Mills and I like 'em both.

The hundred watter used in the Zobel is available from Ohmite and Uxcell.  We stock the Uxcell part, which is a good quality resistor and easy to mount.  The Ohmite resistor is excellent as well.
