Will your parts kit if you implement that be a point to point wiring style? I'm guessing there's some issues with supply chain reliability and cost with the expensive pieces like transformers and metal cases with tube gear. Which is what Rozenblit has pared down to. Starting first with the tubes themselves. He said they could be sourced just as cost effective by the hobbyist themselves and returned if the tube wasn't satisfactory. Hope you get it going again. Like John Lennon sang. Christ, you know it ain't easy.

P.S. A nice brief writeup on Rozinblit I'd never seen with him holding the little preamp like the one I put together when he still had full blown kits. His last product developed now that he's downsized.
