I'm posting a video with something on it for the first 30 seconds. It's reminiscent of how some T.V. stations would sign off for the night. If someone could tell me what that is, I'd appreciate it.

That's a Steve Winwood video and the screen displayed right before it starts looks like a leader created by the video production company.

Here's the RCA test pattern displayed by some TV stations when they signed off:

So, did each company have their own pattern, Wayne? I wonder why they used a Native American's head?  I don't remember it being part of RCA's logo.

I remember those test patterns.  Really ticked me off at late night hours that there was no programs to watch.  Now just the opposite.  It tends to be trash at late night hours and isn't (IMO) worth watching.  So I dig out a DVD or horrors   on occasion a VHS to pass the time.

Good Listening

I wonder if that video with the technical countdown image is more oriented to the production of the video itself, rather than what the test pattern was for the old picture tube tv's were used for. Both technically oriented but not for the same use.

I remember that Injun and tone a wake up reminder to shut the boob tube off after nodding off to some not so fascinating tv show or movie.
