I've caught a nasty virus off the kids. My wife is sick of my whining, so I've been sent to languish in bed. I'm bored to death and can't find anything to watch that I haven't already seen before. What's new and different? I've seen all the superhero movies, I've covered everything in Harry Potter's world, I've watched the entire Star Wars franchise, and I've enjoyed a few cowboy shows. I've now run out of ideas. Currently, I have Netflix, Prime, Paramount, and cable. What should I watch?

Did you ever watch "Supernatural?" That's kinda fun. Or how 'bout "Lincoln Lawyer?"

Both are on Netflix.

Ever seen the old British series, The Prisoner? A disenchanted British Intelligence agent is gassed unconscious and wakes up to a curious place called the Village. There he's subjected to mystery and intrigue to find out the "information" only he knows.
A very high quality British production that's stood the test of time since first aired in 1967.

Are you sure it's not the man flu, Leo? I'm just kidding. I'm sorry to hear that you're sick. What about watching an old series, like WKRP in Cincinnati, Cheers, Murphy Brown, or Night Court? They're carefree sitcoms with watchable storylines.

Where's Rusty? He's usually great at this kind of thing. Oh, wow, I see he posted just as I was writing my response.

My wife might've mumbled something about the man flu a time or two under her breath, Madison, but I swear I'm rarely sick like this. I just can't seem to shake it. At least I'm lucky enough to work from home. Good shout out on Cheers. I caught a few of those episodes, which helped while away the hours. It's hard to believe that Kristie Alley is gone now. She was so full of life and truly stunning back then. She lost her glow when she joined up with Scientology.

Rusty, I've made it through the first three episodes of the show. I'm dying to see whether he escapes. Does it really only have one season? Have you ever seen the remake? You should check out The Day of the Jackal. It's on Peacock, and I bet it'll be right up your alley. It's a fantastic thriller about an assassin and the agent that's trying to catch him. I know that it probably sounds like an overdone trope, but this show is a cut above the rest.

Wayne, I can't get into Supernatural, but Lincoln Lawyer looks good. I'm going to tackle that one next. Thanks for the recommendations.

Do you have the covid Leot? Get well soon. I forget how many episodes of The Prisoner there are. I saw it when it originally aired back in 67 or 8 probably. I was 15 or 16 at the time and was transfixed. Even with the glorious black and white tv we had. I like the opening music as well. I just think its a classic series.
I can't imagine a remake of it though. Most remakes fall flat with me. Which you say The Day of the Jackal is a series. The movie was very good it's based on.

Wayne's right, The Lincoln Lawyer is really good. Also if you've never seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. That's a great movie series. Three I think. The original Swedish production is the one to watch. Subtitles but, they don't bother.

No fun being under the weather. Especially holidays. So hang in there and beat that crud.
