Just got my first pair of legit headphones for music only, beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro. I'll basically be listening through my desktop PC, so looking at combo amp/DAC options. The one that sounds like a good buy without being crazy expensive is the iFi Zen DAC V2. Am I on the right track? From what I've read this setup should get me well on the way to experiencing music and not just hearing it. Just looking for some confirmation before I pull that trigger.

Hi A bit out of my main stream but most iFi products are good values. Check first to be sure it can deliver sufficient output to drive the phones.

Good Listening

Yes, the iFi Zen DAC V2 is a solid choice for the DT 1990 Pro--great value, powerful enough, and excellent sound quality. Go for it!

thanks and regards
