CD's are a budget minded choice now. I'm a platter lover forever so I welcome it though with a sigh as LP's have gotten so expensive. During the dominance of cd's, records and vintage equipment were a bargain. So the market has flipped. Who knows, the future may do it's fickle finger of fate again in a nostalgia for the promise of "perfect sound forever" after the baby boomers become a footnote in history.
