Hi all.

I'm new on this planet.. and the 4pi has fascinated me for a long time.
I would like to buy the DIY kit, but unfortunately I live in Germany. Now I'm trying to collect the individual components.
In one forum it was mentioned that a 2226J (16 ohms) can also be used. Is that correct? What would the crossover look like for 16 ohms? Or is the 4pi with 2226J not recommended.
There's a cheap pair here in 16 ohms right now.
Can you help me?

Best regards from Hamburg
Michael

I would not suggest using the 2226J. The crossover was designed for the 2226H and while its values could be adjusted, I've never measured a system with a 2226J to validate. So since you're still gathering parts, find a pair of 2226H drivers to use.
