Wayne, long time no see!
We recently moved again and my music room for all my instruments and hifi has been downsized to a 12x12 room with a 7' suspended ceiling in the basement. I had to move the Two Towers on as they just visually seemed big in the room and they sounded best pulled out from the wall which automatically resulted in near-field listening. Anyway, any suggestions on one of your models that might work, or am I just needing to go for a small bookshelf with subs?

All my speakers tend to work well with boundary reinforcement, so half-space or quarter-space is best. Of course, that then gives SBIR but that's what flanking subs mitigate.
Speakers pulled far away from walls always have the benefit of no SBIR, but then they often sound kind of thin. It's always a trade-off of one kind or another.
I personally like placing speakers fairly close to walls and using flanking subs. It is an approach that usually works pretty well.
Of course, most times my smaller models - the one Pi and two Pi speakers - are used without flaking subs for one reason or another. Sometimes, they're used as surrounds, so subs are in the room but not flanking the surrounds. Sometimes, they are used alone in a small room and subs aren't used because the room is cramped for space. Ironically, that's when flanking subs and/or multisubs are most needed, but if there's no room, it's not an option.
