I have a pair of AE TD18+ woofers for a project that I planned on doing but after having a baby realized that probably isn't going to happen in the next decade. I am currently running 4pis with flanking 3pi subs and I am very happy but I am itching for a change.

My question is... It is possible I could get a like-new pair of AE TD15M for a trade of the TD18s. I will be taking a loss but if I can use them in my 4pis I will be happier than trying to sell them.

I bought brand new JBL 2226h woofers when I built my system and they sound great. Could I swap for the AE TD15M without an issue (passive crossovers from Wayne) and would it improve the 4pis sonically?

Thanks!

Sorry, but the Acoustic Elegance 15-inchers aren't a suitable swap for the 2226H in the four Pi speaker. I did use TD12S drivers in the three Pi at one time, but that's no help for you with your four Pi speakers.
