There is a lot of talk these days about college tuitions and businesses that do not take a lot of stock anymore in college degrees. This got me thinking about audio engineering degrees.
Do you think the average price tag of schooling to get a degree is worth it? I don't think anyone is thinking they will hit the ground running being as good as the Daniel Lanois' of the business, but even if you are of average talent, do you think you can pay off that loan in a reasonable amount of time while getting a good name in the business?
You pursue audio engineering, typically, because it's a passion. You like to do it, therefore you will get good at it and that translates into good-paying work.
