I love wind chimes. I love all sorts of sizes and material too. We have numerous wind chimes on our property. Does anyone else love the sound of chimes? I could sit outside and listen to them for hours.
Yeah, the wooden ones sound too hollow to me. The metallic are more melodic. In my area, they need to be on the heavier side as well because we can get sustained winds of 40mph.
During my childhood, I remember seeing wind chimes in the doorways of our relatives' house. It gave me a false thought that it was put there to know when someone would enter the room.
I love wind chimes too. I love the bigger ones, the sound is so soothing. I could fall asleep to the sound of wind chimes. I have a few of them on my front porch and on the back deck.
Wind chimes make such a beautiful sound. When I was growing up, I would sit on the porch, read and listen to the wind chimes. I like both the wooden and the metallic ones, but if I had to choose, I prefer the metal ones.
