Hello folks!
I am on the path of creating my own substitute for the 2235H from JBL. The price in europe for these drivers is ludicrous right now. I have read somewhere on the lansing heritage forum about a guy modding his 2226 baskets into some frankenwoofer and decided to do the same. Somehow the Fs of 40Hz on the 2226 does not sound very "JBL studio monitor clone" like Laughing
After much reading and sourcing out parts I came up with these two drivers. One uses a half roll surround ala 2235H, the other standard 2226 surround. I got hold of DATS V3 to measure the TS parameters. Right now I only measured free air parameters. Getting ready to measure Added Mass Method Vas and in couple of days a Closed Box method Vas.

I was just thinking it might be interested for some.

Danny
