I purchased the crossovers from you guys so all is good there. I sourced the JBLs elsewhere. They are NOS with original cones and are in great shape. yep, the vapor barrier is removed just R13 insulation on both sides.

I might have the woofers connected backwards, would that make a significant difference (I'm new to all of this)? I'm out of town for the next few days (Central California is too dang hot right now) so I can't check them right away.

One thing I did do was get them off of the floor a bit. That seemed to help the boomy bass some, but it still is there and has a nasal sound to it.

Thank you for helping me out. I look forward to tweaking and playing with them!
