The speakers I've had to replace quickly were due to my own mishandling. Pulling on the cord because I was too lazy to walk to the wall socket and pull the plug caused it to fray. Using my speakers as drink coasters caused a short once I spilled a can of Coke right inside it. Teenage me learned some valuable life lessons.
