I wanted to know if there is any grain of truth with this concept. This has been a hot topic before, and now it seems it subsided. Can plants really hear music?

You haven't fed your cats properly if they ate your plants. Or maybe your plants tasted like cat's food.

I think plants cannot listen to music, but they can feel the vibration of the music.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some truth to this. There are videos about plants showing signs of emotion, feeling and even reading minds. So music helping them grow doesn't seem so far fetched.

I go with the skeptics because listening in the human sense is different from feeling it. We can feel the sound through vibration and that might be the case with plants.
