I just watched this movie last night and I recommend it. I thought it was very good. If what happened in the movie more or less happens in real life, it gives the viewer a very good look into the Russian Intelligence community as well as the CIA.
If you like the foriegn espionage type movies, you'll really like this one.
It was not a bad movie, but I didn't walk away feeling satisfied. Too much circling around who-knows-who-is-who, but not enough spy actions. I did like the take on those spy agencies. It always amazes me just how intricate the systems are. Jennifer Lawrence's unique presence on the screen helped to carry this movie for me.
The offensive scenes may not be for everyone, though.
I have watched this movie, but was not a fan of it. I'd rather recommend the TV series "The Americans". The TV show is more accurate with historical facts than Red Sparrow, in my simple opinion.
