Nearly six months later and this is once again a huge topic of debate. I've previously owned an AR-15 and I get why people like them. They're a lot easier to shoot. Unfortunately, that goes for both the defender and the attacker. I think they should be banned, although I am not opposed to security guards (who will actually respond to a threat) having them.
