I've been talking about getting into a DIY project for forever now and I think I'm ready to take a leap of faith and give it a shot...not really out of necessity, but just to see if I can. So I'm curious, what was your first DIY project? Was it successful?

I made DIY sound absorbing panels and it worked out well. That particular project wasn't ambitious though. I'd like to try something more difficult, but I haven't found another project yet.
