Is it true that some of these apps let you listen to your favorite stations while using less battery? I've never thought of downloading a radio app on my phone though.
I've never heard of radio apps that use less battery, though I guess that in some context it's true. Most apps use different resources and techniques, so of course some will require less energy and use less of your battery. However, I don't know of any in specific that do that or how big of a difference there is in battery usage.
I think that may very well be true when you consider how apps work as opposed to tuning in without the use of an app. Of course I don't listen to much radio, so I could be wrong.
