It just struck me that this has been one slow year for me; I haven't gone to the cinemas yet. Do you at times reach a point where everything that used to interest you starts becoming less of a priority?
Not less of a priority, but I got more picky about what I did as I got older and money got tighter. I used to go to the cinema a lot, but now I choose which films I'm going to see well in advance, and got a lot more selective about them.

I'll be honest, I haven't gone to the movies since about 2012. It's definitely not a priority for me. I prefer to stay at home and wait for movies to come out on DVD.
