Reducing noise when recording [message #84718]

I recorded a video that I uploaded to YouTube, but when I listened to it later it sounded really unprofessional because of the background noise. How can I reduce it if I don't have the fancy mike or other equipment?

My solution is to go inside your clothes cupboard or wardrobe (whatever you call it...) and record in there. There will be no background noise.

My first response was to laugh, but thinking about it, you may be on to something there. That would definitely take care of the background noise, but wouldn't it give it a 'muffled' sound?
