If there was one artist or band you could do a duet with, who would it be? Keep in mind there is technology to make you sound better than you actually do.
I have always adored Coldplay and a chance to perform alongside them would just be heavenly. I guess I wouldn't even want to change or enhance my voice since I am already a good singer.
Even with the best technology in the world my voice wouldn't be up to it! Mind you if I could change that to playing while they sang, there'd be lots, like Idina Menzel or Elaine Paige to start!
You mention technology and I cannot help but wonder how auto tune has messed up music in general. I have a couple of favorite singers and I wouldn't hesitate if I got the chance to perform alongside them. Perhaps it will serve as my 'big break'
Oh, that's an easy one for me. Dolly Parton. She was my mother's favorite singer while I was growing up and I know most of her songs by heart. Now that my mother is gone, listening to Dolly's songs is the best way I have found to keep feeling that connection to my mother.
