What is the status of LSAF for 2017?

Thanks

It's being held at the same place, same time of year - first weekend in May. You gonna be there?

Wayne,

I thought I'd already replied. Yes I'll be there. Rooms are booked.

I'm hoping to be there again this year. Just starting to check out airfare, car and hotel prices.

Head up about the links to Embassy Suites:

If you hit the Lone Star banner at the bottom of Audioroundtable it takes you to http://lonestaraudiofest.com/registration.html. This does not take you to the right Embassy Suites page.

It works from the main page of lonestaraudiofest.com. That takes you to http://lonestaraudiofest.com/reserve-your-room-for-2017/.

It's about $30 a night higher if you don't get the right link.

So glad you guys will be there!

Mike, I always think how ironic it is that you moved to Tulsa almost exactly when I moved away to Bella Vista. I had lived in Tulsa all my life, and started the show there. Back then it was called the "Great Plains Audiofest." It had the same feel, part trade show, part audio club meet, part casual get together. That's when we took on the "Woodstock of Audio Shows" reputation.

Barry, you and Kelly and I will have to grab dinner on Friday or Saturday night. I'm bringing my constant directivity cornerhorns this year. I'll also have an Oppo source and SET amp to drive them with. Scott Shaeffer is hoping to finish his latest SET amp, and if so, that's what I'll use. If not, it will be my usual Audio Note amp.

Wayne,

I never have had particularly good timing.

I'm looking forward to hearing the horns

Hi Wayne,

Just got all of the reservations set for the trip. Really looking forward to it. Yes, a night out and about would be great.

John Busch says he'll be there and has an open baffle and a boxed speaker. There's a chance Pano will make it this year, too.

Brad is going to show up but won't be showing gear. He'll be a civilian.

Really looking forward to it.

Barry

Lone Star Audio Fest is back for 2017 and it's going to be outstanding. Exhibitor count is up and we're all very excited about this year's event. We had an advertisement in Stereophile this past month as well as Josey Records pushing attendance by handing out event fliers for the show.

The gear raffle is BACK for 2017! The raffle will be at 6:30pm Saturday evening in the atrium (aka: free alcohol happy hour from 5:30-7:00pm) at the managers reception. We will use the attendee registration cards as raffle tickets like we've done in the past. Must be present to win.
