Have you ever replaced your car speakers? In my own thinking, this is normally the last thing that a car manufacturer pays attention to. I have always replaced them so as to ensure that the sound is top-notch.

No, but I've swapped the stereos in all of 'em. Speakers are a pain, because half the time they are hard-sunk or integral. Good luck getting them out without ruining the dash or rear-seat finish.
