I need some recommendations for an amp and preamp. I want to move into tubes and single drivers and am looking for opinions.

Depends how much $ you have to spend. It's possible to put together a good SE amp and single-driver speakers for under $3k. And go up (and up) from there.......

stereo amp kit. For the complete kit, it's $265.
