I think the question is pretty explicit. I would just like to know if there are any specific quality requirements for the audio track of a video recording. I'm a noob, so any help is really appreciated.

Do you mean when you are capturing the sound, or for playback on the final version?

What is the video recording for? If you're making something to play through a high end stereo or archive purposes, you'll want better quality than something streaming online.
