Hello everyone!

The rear panel on my 4 Pi speaker cabinets may need replacing before I fully assemble the speaker.

Would it be okay to simply skip the binding post plate and install 2 binding posts directly through the wood itself? Sorry if this is a silly question. I'm not an experienced speaker builder or woodworker. Just trying to get all this straight. Thanks!
